Erick Segura (b.1994) is a Guatemalan-American multidisciplinary visual artist based in Eastern Long Island, New York. Formally trained in fashion design, Segura developed a foundation in abstract expressionism. Utilizing form, composition, and material awareness that continues to inform his artistic practice.

Neither Here Nor There (The Berlin Series), This body of work is part of a series I created while living in Berlin, Germany from September to December of 2016. I’m not quite sure what first drew me to the city years prior, but I knew deep down it would be a endless source of inspiration.The history that bleeds through its streets, the underground music culture, and the raw, unshakable energy all shaped this series. These works were created at Fellini Gallery in Kreuzberg, where each painting became a response to the vibrations of the city around me.
